Our children's book series and educational programming create a space for self-exploration, interconnection and kind dialogue.
Author Sarah Kraftchuk began writing and publishing books for children in 2012. The Love To Be book series draws upon her studies of holistic nutrition, education and mindfulness. The first three books in our series are illustrated by Sari Richter, a Registered Art Therapist in Toronto, Canada. All books are Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified and printed with love in Canada.
After completing teachers college and a diploma in holistic nutrition, Sarah was greatly inspired by the interconnection of body and mind. While substitute teaching, Sarah created her first book, Love To Be Me! an interactive, loving kindness body scan. The intention was to create a space for self-exploration, interconnection and kind-dialogue. The first two books in the series were designed for each page to be a dialogue-prompt. They are enjoyed by parents, teachers and yoga practitioners.
Sarah has since expanded to offer Author readings throughout the Toronto District School Board, York Region District School Board, the Conference of Independent Schools and virtually. In addition, Sarah provides mindfulness explorations for students of all ages and mindfulness workshops and trainings for educators.
Sarah is an Ontario Certified Teacher, Registered Holistic Nutritionist and Kids Yoga Teacher. She also holds an MSc Mindfulness and is a certified meditation and breath work teacher. At MINDSET Brain Gym in Toronto she has delivered over 500 hours of instruction across group classes, private sessions and corporate groups.
